美國劇作家協會長達三個月的大罷工結束後，美國影藝學院主辦的奧斯卡金像獎，總算得以在最後關頭順利登場。（不過，時尚雜誌「浮華世界」在之前勞資談判情勢尚未明朗時，便已破天荒宣布今年取消其最負盛名的會後派對....）
當天揭曉的得獎名單裡，非主流與獨立製片風光全場，是大獲全勝的一年；而萬眾矚目的演技獎項，則全被「外星人」拿走....
最佳男主角『Daniel Day-Lewis』與女配角『Tilda Swinton』均為功力早受各方肯定的英國演員；來自西班牙的男配角『Javier Bardem』曾擒獲兩屆威尼斯影帝；而新科影后『Marion Cotillard』當了多年花瓶後，終於在《玫瑰人生》以演活了法國傳奇「香頌天后」『Edith Piaf』戲劇化的一生，向世人證明她的不凡演技，成為繼1960年來，第2位法國籍、但是第1位以法語片在奧斯卡封后的女星！
還好有柯恩兄弟所執導的《No Country for Old Men》（險路勿近）一舉囊括最佳影片、導演、改編劇本等主要大獎，替美國人爭回一口氣。否則好不容易才熬過劇作家罷工風波的美國人，應該會覺得一整個顏面無光吧？呵～
喔，對了，這次原創電影歌曲的入圍者，5首有3首來自迪士尼出品的《Enchanted》（曼哈頓奇緣），雖然第一首《Happy Working Song》，女主角 Amy Adams 親自上陣的獨唱演出實在設計得太單薄，其他兩首則呈現了如電影中的熱鬧場景及畫面；而《August Rush》（把愛找回來）的主題曲亦請來唱詩班共同擔綱。
不若近年偶爾只邀請非原唱者上台唱唱就結束，這次讓泰咪又重溫十幾年前迪士尼動畫全盛時期，總是期待欣賞入圍歌曲與電影結合之精彩演出的美好回憶啊～

After the 3-months strike held by the Writer Guild of America has finally over, the 80th Annual Academy Awards took place as usual. (But the most famous, "Vanity Fair" AfterParty had been called off for the first time in history...)
It's the year of independent films, they got the most awards; and the acting category were all taken by the "Outlanders"....
Best Actor, Daniel Day-Lewis & Supporting Actress, Tilda Swinton are from UK, their always-proficient-performance had already been well-known.
Spanish actor, Javier Bardem, who got the Best Supporting Actor, had been a 2-time Best Actor winner of Venice Film Festival.
And the brand new movie queen, Marion Cotillard, whose characters in films were always easy to be forgot. This time she totally turned into the legendary French singer, Edith Piaf in 《La Vie En Rose》, to prove the whole world her extraordinary performance. She has become the 2nd French since 1960, and the 1st-ever actree who played in French language film and won this category in Oscar history!
Fortunately, the Coen brothers'《No Country for Old Men》has won Adapted Screenplay, Best Director and Best Picture of the Year for Americans, at least to balance the full collapse in the acting category.... ha~
